Diddy’s sentencing hearing began Friday at 10 a.m., as Shade Room previously reported. Furthermore, cameras captured his loved ones, specifically his mother, Janice Combs, his sister Keisha, and six of his seven children: Quincy Brown, Justin Combs, Christian Combs, Chance Combs, Jessie Combs, D’Lila Combs, Justin’s mother, Misa Hylton, Chance’s mother, Sarah Chapman, and Victim-3, Gina Huynh, as they arrived at the Southern District Courthouse.
As the hearing began, Diddy reportedly entered the court, waved to supporters and hugged his legal team. Additionally, Judge Subramanian reportedly told the court that although Diddy “repents repent for certain things”, he did not express repent for his conviction. He noted that the consultation sentencing range was 70 to 87 months (about six to seven years). Additionally, he explained Didi could fine between $25,000 and $250,000.
During the lawsuit, it was shared that Diddy allegedly booked an engagement in Miami on October 5. Then, after prosecuting to share his speech, the defense followed up, eventually causing Judge Subramanian to share his thoughts.
“There must be a large number of sentences to send messages to the abusers and victims that there is real accountability for the abuse of women.” The judge reportedly told the court that he added that he had no “guarantee” that the crimes would be “repeated” by Didi again.
Then, Judge Aron Subanian sentenced Diddy:
“50 months in prison”
